Terms of Service

Last updated: October 15, 2026

These terms cover your use of Chronomancer, a website and Discord bot that help groups schedule their meetings. It is run as a personal project by Henry Rudolph ("I", "me"). By logging in, adding the bot to a server, or using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Who may use it

You must be old enough to use Discord (at least 13, or older where your country requires) and you must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You log in with your Discord account and are responsible for what happens under it.

What the service does

You can create or join groups, mark when you are free, vote on proposed times, and receive reminders. A group's organizer (called Dungeon Master or Group manager depending on the theme) runs the group, can change its settings, can open and close polls and decide the time, and can delete the group. If you add the bot to a Discord server, the bot may post messages and create scheduled events there, within the permissions you give it.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service to harass, threaten or spam anyone, or to break the law.
• Do not put unlawful, hateful or abusive content in group names, session titles or anything else the service shows.
• Do not try to break, overload, scrape or get around the limits of the service, or to reach other people's data.
• Organizers are responsible for the groups they create and for who they invite.

I may remove a group, block an account, or remove the bot from use if these rules are broken.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you enter (such as group names and your availability). You give me permission to store it and show it to the other members of your group, and to use it to run the service. How personal information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

No guarantees

Chronomancer is a free personal project and is provided "as is" and "as available". Reminders and events depend on Discord and my hosting provider and can be late, missed or wrong, so please do not rely on it for anything where a missed reminder would cause serious harm. I may change or stop the service, or delete data that the service no longer needs, at any time.

Limits on responsibility

To the extent the law allows, I am not responsible for lost data, missed sessions or any indirect or consequential loss that comes from using the service. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law does not allow to be limited.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time. Use "Delete my data" on the home page to remove your information, and remove the bot from your Discord server if you added it. I may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.

Not affiliated

Chronomancer is an independent project. It is not made by, endorsed by or connected to Discord Inc. or Wizards of the Coast. Dungeons & Dragons is a trademark of Wizards of the Coast LLC and is mentioned only to describe the theme of the site.

Changes

I may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
